The Summer Hikaru Died Wiki:Administrators

Administrators are registered users who have additional rights and permissions on the Wiki compared to ordinary contributors. They maintain, manage, and upkeep the Wiki, as well as enforce Wiki policy. For a full list explaining special user rights, visit this page.

Administrators

• Have all the abilities of a Content Moderator and a Discussions Moderator.
• Can block IP addresses or usernames from editing.
• Can edit the Wiki's Javascript and CSS.
• Can edit the Wiki's interface by changing system messages and skins.

Bureaucrats

A Bureaucrat can make other users on the Wiki into bureaucrats or administrators. They can also grant special rights such as Rollback, Content Moderator, Chat Moderator, or Discussion Moderator. A Wiki may have multiple bureaucrats at a time. However, bureaucrat rights cannot be removed by other users, not even fellow bureaucrats – it must be done by a Wikia Community Staff member.

Becoming a Team Member

To gain special user rights, a bureaucrat must grant them to you. You can gain rights by appealing directly to an active bureaucrat on their message wall. There are no concrete requirements to make a request, but as a general rule of thumb, users are more likely to be given rights if they meet some or all of the following points:

• They contribute on a regular basis to The Summer Hikaru Died Wiki, and are usually not inactive for more than 2 weeks at a time.
• They have made strong, quality contributions to the Wiki.
• They make an effort to follow site rules and have no history of blocks due to serious vandalism or harassment.
• They are trusted or nominated by a current staff member.
• They are vigilant of the Recent Changes page and have cleaned pages of vandalism, speculation, or violations of the Manual of Style.
• If there is an active community, they assist users with questions on user talk pages, article talk pages, or forums.

Wiki Adoption

If the administration team has been completely inactive for at least 60 days, you can submit an Adoption Request to Fandom Wikia Staff to adopt The Summer Hikaru Died Wiki. If you meet their listed requirements and your request is approved, then Fandom Wikia Staff will assign you the rights.

Depending on the situation, it may be easier/faster to directly ask a current bureaucrat to grant you the rights instead. You can do this by leaving them a message on their talk page or message wall. If the bureaucrat is not active on this Wiki, it is a good idea to check their user page to see if they've listed any other Fandom Wikis they are active in. If you can determine that they are recently active on the Fandom platform, you can still try communicating with them here.
