The Summer Hikaru Died (光 (ひかる) が死 (し) んだ夏 (なつ) , Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu^?) is a Japanese stage play adaptation of the manga by Mokumokuren.

Yoshiki and Hikaru are two high school boys who have grown up together in a certain village.

However, one day, Yoshiki realizes that Hikari has been replaced by something else.

Still wanting to be together, Yoshiki chooses to continue spending time as before with "Something", who appears as his friend.

At the same time, strange things gradually begin to happen around him...
