The Summer Hikaru Died Wiki

Matsushima Yoshihiko ( (まつ) (しま) (よし) (ひこ) , Matsushima Yoshihiko?) is one of the Characters in The Summer Hikaru Died, written and illustrated by Mokumokuren.

Overview[]

One of Kubitachi's three village leaders. He's concerned about the state of the village and the Indou family ritual.

Appearance[]

Yoshihiko is a middle-aged man of average build. He has short, spiky, dark hair. He also has light facial hair on his chin and upper lip, smile lines extending outward from his eyes, and two liver spots on his right cheek. He is typically seen wearing a light T-shirt and dark pants.

Personality[]

Yoshihiko seems to be the most carefree and least assertive member among the three village leaders. While the others are firmly looking for solutions and show great concern for their village, Yoshihiko doesn't mind getting drunk and playing the existence of Something off as some kind of superstition.[2] When he's confronted with the harsh reality of their village's predicament, he's easily frightened and often wears an anxious disposition.[3]
