History[]

When Iori was a young child, his father passed away and then returned from the dead as an impurity.[1] Although his appearance was shadowy and inhuman, his mother, Rie, told Iori and his sister that their father was still here with them. Because of this, Iori still interacted with his "father," playing video games with him and spending time with him regularly. One day, Iori cried out in pain. Rie then discovered Iori collapsed on the ground while his father peered through a crack in the door with tears in his eyes.[2] This incident left Iori with an irreparable spiritual scar. Years later, he left Kibogayama and has not returned.[1] At some point, he was taken care of by the Company.[3]
