Indou Kouhei (忌 (いん) 堂 (どう) 晃 (こう) 平 (へい) , Indou Kōhei?) is one of the Characters in The Summer Hikaru Died, written and illustrated by Mokumokuren.

Overview[]

The father of Indou Hikaru. He believed his family ritual was pointless, and mysteriously passed away when his son was in the fifth grade.

Appearance[]

He resembles his son, Hikaru, in physical appearance. He has short, white hair and gray eyes. He is of average stature and has a dimple on both cheeks.

  • The kanji of his surname, Indou, are "mourning; abhor, detest(able)" (忌 in) and "hall; shrine" (堂 dou).
  • The kanji of his given name, Kouhei, are "clear" (晃 kou) and "peace" (平 hei).
