Hichi-san (ヒチさん, Hichi-san?) is the name of an object used for protection by the Indou family.
Description[]
Hichi-san, according to Tanaka, most likely used to be a human head – presumably that of Indou Hichi, the woman whose temporary revival led to the Indou family's greatest sin.[1]
Hichi-san has powerful protective powers against impurities, which is why it is carried by men of the Indou family when they perform their family's apology ritual on Nisayama. Because Hikaru passed away on the mountain, Hichi-san remained there until she was retrieved by Tanaka.[2]
