This is the 4th Chapter of The Summer Hikaru Died manga series, written and illustrated by Mokumokuren.
Synopsis[]
Yoshiki still doesn't understand anything about "Hikaru," what he is, or how he was able to snatch up the mysterious entity in the forest recently. Instead of trying to explain it, "Hikaru" makes the bizarre suggestions to simply show him, what's inside his body. Yoshiki agrees, unaware that this is not the only strange encounter he will witness that day...
Plot[]
Yoshiki and "Hikaru" stand together in a gym storage room at school, with Yoshiki being visibly tense. Earlier in the day, Asako accidentally spiked a volleyball directly into "Hikaru"'s face, knocking him flat on his back and causing his nose to bleed. Yoshiki took him to the infirmary and noted that he's pretty banged up. "Hikaru" then clarified that he hardly feels any pain at all. Yoshiki remarked that he's not a perfect copy of a person at all, and that his nose, despite this, bleeds pretty often, which reminded him of what happened on the forest path. He asked "Hikaru" to explain what he did one more time, since it still didn't make sense to him. Rather than explaining it again, "Hikaru" offered to show Yoshiki his insides.
Back in the gym storage room, "Hikaru" unbuttons his shirt, revealing his chest. There is a slit spanning from his navel to his mid-sternum, opening into darkness. He suddenly grabs Yoshiki's hand and puts it inside the slit. Yoshiki flinches and says that it feels cold, and describes it as raw chicken covered in marinade. "Hikaru" replies that Yoshiki feels warm and nice, since it's been a while since he's felt something alive inside him. He tells Yoshiki to move his hand up. Yoshiki slowly moves his hand toward "Hikaru"'s chin, and the slit peels further open with it. "Hikaru" curls over and says it feels good being touched there, like someone patting your head.
Feeling he is being pulled further in, out of panic, Yoshiki immediately rips his arm out from "Hikaru"'s insides. "Hikaru" laughs at his reaction. He notices Yoshiki staring at his chest and teases him for it, but Yoshiki reacts by blushing and looking away in discomfort. When "Hikaru" asks what's wrong and reaches for him, Yoshiki forcefully slaps his hand away. Realizing he didn't like that, "Hikaru" awkwardly tries to laugh it off, but Yoshiki suddenly reaches up and ruffles his hair. He tells him to button his shirt back up, and they leave.
After school, Kaoru texts Yoshiki and asks him to pick up super-spicy wasabi mustard, so he goes to a grocery store. At the counter, a female clerk starts to bombard Yoshiki with uncomfortable questions about him and his family. Exhausted from the encounter, as he's getting his bike to leave, a local housewife grabs him by the wrist and tells him to stop. She says he is close to something extremely dangerous, and he needs to get away or else he'll become mixed with it.

Trivia[]
- The supermarket Yoshiki visits in Kibogayama Town is called Nozomi Supermarket (スーパーノゾミ, Suupaa Nozomi?). It's rather large with a drug store next to it.[1]
