I just finished watching the anime, and got super stoked cuz I found out a season two is coming!!!! So yeah hi!

For my birthday, my friend got me the first volume because she thought I would like it. I knew as soon as I finished volume 1 I had to get the others, so I did. I find myself deeply reating to Yoshiki because, I have struggled to accept my sexuality for a long time despite knowing what it is for awhile. Especially with how I've wished, and hoped to be normal while denying my own feelings for people. I'm not sure if I'm reading too far into it but yeah, that's all I came on here to say! Have a good day! Please try not to give me too many spoilers. I'm on volume 3 right now.

I saw a pretty interesting comments on the internet says that when Hikaru becomes more human, the Yoshiki becomes more non-human. We can see that Hikaru became from being not able to feel the pain to being able to and had the feeling of himself. However, in chapter 39, the Yoshiki's mom seems have forgotten her son which may stem from the blend. Since the memories are the components of being a human, does it mean that a part of humanity has gone away in Yoshiki? Meanwhile, the memories made by Hikaru also make him more human.

I'll update if anyone wants to see it or even if I actually do it but I was listening to Loving Machine by Tv Girl and I was like this reminds me of Hikaru and Yoshiki and I already have a good vision of it :P
